Light Duty Driver

To safely operate light vehicles for the transportation of employees, clients, documents, materials, and equipment while ensuring compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light duty vehicles safely and efficiently as assigned.
• Transport employees, visitors, and company representatives to designated locations.
• Deliver and collect documents, materials, and equipment as required.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper upkeep at all times.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and road safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
• Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
• Respond professionally to customer and operational requirements.
• Report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to management.
• Support other operational activities as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Bahrain Light Vehicle Driving License (or eligible for conversion as per company requirements).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Light Duty Driver.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Basic English communication skills. Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to use GPS and navigation applications.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
