Role DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data from multiple sources to identify trends, measure business performance, and provide actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency and organizational outcomes.

The successful candidate will gather, clean, validate, and organize structured and unstructured data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability. You will perform exploratory data analysis, identify patterns, detect anomalies, and generate valuable insights that support business planning, operational improvements, customer engagement, and performance optimization.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data visualizations that enable stakeholders to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make informed business decisions. You will work with large datasets, automate reporting processes, and develop scalable business intelligence solutions that improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility.

You will collaborate closely with business leaders, product teams, finance, operations, marketing, sales, and technology teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Responsibilities include defining reporting metrics, developing data models, performing trend analysis, forecasting business performance, and presenting findings through clear and compelling visual reports.

The position includes designing and maintaining data pipelines, validating data quality, identifying inconsistencies, and supporting data governance initiatives to ensure reliable business reporting. You will analyze customer behavior, operational performance, financial metrics, and market trends to uncover opportunities for business improvement and support strategic initiatives.

You will perform ad hoc analysis, build predictive models where appropriate, conduct segmentation analysis, evaluate business performance, and measure the effectiveness of operational and marketing initiatives using data-driven methodologies. Continuous improvement of reporting processes, dashboard performance, and analytical frameworks is encouraged to enhance business intelligence capabilities.

The role also involves documenting analytical methodologies, maintaining reporting standards, supporting data integrity, and ensuring compliance with organizational data governance policies. You will stay informed about emerging analytics technologies, visualization tools, artificial intelligence applications, and business intelligence best practices to continuously improve analytical capabilities and support organizational innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data analysis, business intelligence, statistics, and data visualization principles.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, or similar visualization tools.
• Understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages for data manipulation and automation is advantageous.
