🎯 The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize the organization’s accounts payable operations. The successful candidate will oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, AP controls, reconciliations, process improvements, and financial compliance while ensuring timely and accurate payment execution.

This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in accounts payable management, financial operations, accounting processes, vendor management, ERP systems, and financial controls.

🚀 What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payments
• Oversee end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) processes including invoice validation, approvals, payment scheduling, and reconciliation
• Manage AP teams, workloads, performance metrics, and operational priorities
• Establish and maintain effective accounts payable policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Review supplier invoices, payment requests, credit notes, and expense claims for accuracy and compliance
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment issues, and improve supplier payment experiences
• Monitor accounts payable aging, cash flow requirements, payment cycles, and outstanding liabilities
• Perform regular account reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, treasury, legal, and business teams to improve payment processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, audit requirements, and company policies
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
• Analyze AP performance metrics including processing time, payment accuracy, automation rates, and cost efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, digital transformation, and process optimization

✅ What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5–10+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting operations, financial shared services, or finance management
• Proven experience managing AP teams and complex payment operations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, invoice processing, vendor management, and financial controls
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with auditors, suppliers, finance teams, and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent
• Experience in multinational organizations, shared service centers, technology companies, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or financial services
• Knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P), three-way matching, vendor master data management, expense management, and financial automation
• Experience using enterprise finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Workday Financial Management, or similar technologies
• Experience managing regional or global accounts payable operations
• Fluency in English is required
