Role Description The Owner role at PACE is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The person in this role will oversee overall business operations, including project planning, resource allocation, and financial management. Daily responsibilities include supervising engineering and contracting activities, coordinating with clients and vendors, reviewing proposals and budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
The Owner will lead business development efforts, identify new opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build strategic partnerships. This role also involves guiding the team, setting performance expectations, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong background in engineering, contracting, or project management, with experience overseeing end-to-end project execution.
- Demonstrated ability in business operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
- Proficiency in client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory compliance, and safety practices.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams, set goals, and make data-informed decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing or owning a contracting or engineering firm, or equivalent senior leadership experience, is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Bhopal and engaging directly with projects, clients, and partners.
