About the Role
Our client, a leader in AI & Emerging Technologies, is seeking a creative and driven AI Researcher to focus on Reinforcement Learning (RL). This role involves conducting cutting-edge research, developing novel RL algorithms, and applying them to solve complex real-world problems. The position is based in our state-of-the-art facility in Busaiteen, Muharraq, BH .
Key Responsibilities
Conduct advanced research in reinforcement learning theory and algorithms. Design, implement, and evaluate novel RL agents and methodologies for diverse applications. Collaborate with engineers to integrate research prototypes into practical systems. Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals. Stay current with the latest research in RL, deep learning, and related fields. Contribute to the development of the research roadmap and identify new research opportunities.
Mentor junior researchers and interns. Analyze experimental results and communicate findings effectively. Contribute to grant proposals and external research collaborations.
Requirements
Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. Demonstrated experience in reinforcement learning research, evidenced by publications in reputable venues or significant open-source contributions. Strong theoretical understanding of RL concepts, including value-based methods, policy-based methods, and model-based RL. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with RL libraries and simulation environments is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex research ideas. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team.
