Role DescriptionThe Supply Chain Analyst / Logistics Specialist / Operations Planner is responsible for optimizing supply chain operations by analyzing business data, coordinating logistics activities, and developing operational plans that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely movement of goods and materials.
This role collaborates with procurement, warehouse, production, transportation, sales, and customer service teams to streamline end-to-end supply chain processes while maintaining high service levels and operational excellence.
The position plays a critical role in demand planning, inventory optimization, logistics coordination, transportation management, capacity planning, and operational performance analysis. Responsibilities include monitoring supply chain activities, evaluating inventory levels, analyzing logistics performance, forecasting demand, coordinating shipments, identifying operational bottlenecks, and developing data-driven recommendations that improve supply chain resilience and business performance.

Key responsibilities include
- Analyze supply chain operations to identify trends, operational risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

- Identify cost optimization opportunities through route planning, inventory management, supplier performance analysis, and operational improvements.
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and production scheduling initiatives.
- Investigate operational issues, shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and supply chain disruptions while recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, inventory records, logistics data, and planning reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing workflows, automation opportunities, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and supply chain governance practices.
- Stay informed of emerging supply chain technologies, logistics innovations, and industry best practices to strengthen operational performance.
