EDC is seeking an AI Administrator to own the end-to-end administration, governance, and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365 Copilot and its underlying AI platform. This is a critical, hands-on role within the Workplace Solutions team, sitting at the intersection of enterprise AI adoption and M365 platform stewardship.

This is not a general M365 administrator role. We need someone who understands the specific AI administrator scope within Microsoft, someone who knows the difference between global administrator privileges and AI-specific administrative controls, and who can navigate that distinction to grant the right access, apply the right policies, and keep the organization secure as AI capabilities expand.

AI Platform Administration & Technical Operations

  • Administer and configure Microsoft Copilot for M365 across the EDC tenant, including licensing, user provisioning, access management, feature enablement, and service configuration.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, M365 Admin Center, and Copilot administrative settings, ensuring appropriate role assignments, permissions, and policy enforcement.
  • Implement and manage AI-related security, compliance, data protection, and governance controls across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environments.
  • Deploy, configure, test, and support Copilot agents, connectors, plug-ins, and AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication, authorization, data access, and service integration issues related to Copilot and AI platforms.

Platform Operations, Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Perform day-to-day administration and operational support of Copilot, Power Platform components, and related Microsoft 365 services.
  • Monitor platform health, service performance, usage analytics, adoption metrics, and operational alerts to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Execute platform maintenance activities, including configuration changes, updates, patch validation, lifecycle management, and environment cleanup.
  • Develop automation scripts, operational processes, and monitoring solutions to improve platform reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support platform testing, release validation, and deployment activities for new AI capabilities, administrative features, and service enhancements.

Support, Troubleshooting & Enablement

  • Serve as the senior technical escalation point for Copilot, Power Platform, and AI platform incidents, problems, and service requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve licensing, configuration, permission, integration, and performance issues across Microsoft 365 AI services.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement corrective actions to improve service stability and user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and knowledge transfer to team members on AI platform administration, troubleshooting techniques, and operational best practices.

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience administering Microsoft 365 enterprise environments, including tenant management, Entra ID, licensing, and security/compliance configuration.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft's AI administrator role and how it differs from global administration, including scoped policy assignment and access controls specific to Copilot and AI services.
  • Hands-on experience with M365 data architecture, Microsoft Graph, and Entra ID concepts.
  • Familiarity with Copilot for M365, including configuration, deployment, and tenant-level controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across M365 workloads, with an operational mindset.
  • Ability to build a support model and drive adoption as an enterprise AI tooling owner.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to business and technical audiences.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience with Power Platform administration (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
  • Familiarity with generative AI concepts, LLM-based features, and responsible AI governance.
  • Bilingual in both official languages (English and French).
