About RevoData

RevoData is a boutique Data & AI consultancy and proud Databricks Gold partner. We focus exclusively on Databricks, allowing us to go deep and do things properly. We help companies across Europe unlock the value in their data, helping them design and build scalable platforms that support real business use cases.

Having built our foundations in the Netherlands, we’re now expanding beyond our home market and growing our team in Czechia.

We foster a no-ego, no-nonsense culture where collaboration, proactivity and knowledge sharing are part of everyday work.

Requirements

You’ve reached the point where you don’t just build data platforms - you help shape how they should exist.

You walk into environments where things are unclear, sometimes messy, sometimes politically complex - and you bring structure, direction, and calmness. Not by overcomplicating things, but by making the right things simple.

At RevoData, you operate at the intersection of deep data engineering expertise, technical leadership, and client trust.

We’d love to talk if

  • You’ve led or played a key role in taking data platforms from idea to reality: Not just contributing, but taking ownership of the outcome. You’ve made architectural decisions, dealt with the consequences, and improved things along the way.
  • Databricks is a tool you truly understand, not just use: You don’t just implement pipelines - you shape how platforms are structured. From Delta Lake design decisions to Unity Catalog setup and governance, you define foundations that scale. You’re comfortable working across the platform: orchestrating with Workflows, structuring code and deployments properly, and thinking through how data flows from ingestion to consumption. New to Databricks but want to specialise quickly? Still apply - we have a track for you!
  • You’re comfortable with Python & SQL: You write clean, maintainable code and know your way around data modelling and building data pipelines.
  • You know your way around the cloud: You’ve worked with Azure, AWS or GCP and have experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.
  • You bring structure where there isn’t any: You can take a vague ambition (“we need a data platform”) and turn it into something concrete - defining approach, architecture, and first steps without needing everything handed to you.
  • You balance pragmatism with quality: You know when to push for a better design, and when to move forward with something “good enough for now.” You don’t get stuck in theory, but you also don’t create future problems.
  • You raise the level of the people around you: Through reviews, discussions, and the way you work, you make others better - without it feeling forced or hierarchical.
  • You influence decisions in the grey area between tech and business: You can challenge assumptions, explain trade-offs, and guide decisions - whether you’re speaking to an engineer, a product owner, or a CTO.

Nice to have

  • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Engineer Professional etc.)
  • Databricks Champion status

💡 Experienced, but new to Databricks?

We focus exclusively on Databricks, so you'll be working with your hands deep in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform: PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and the latest Mosaic AI features. But we don't expect you to walk in as a power user. If you’ve built strong data platforms on other stacks and want to specialise in Databricks quickly - that's enough to get started.

For candidates without Databricks experience who want to ramp up quickly, we're willing to invest. We offer a 7 month crash course covering certifications, hands-on client project work, and an internal knowledge-sharing session to cement what you've learned. This track transitions to a permanent contract upon reaching the agreed milestones. It's designed to get you up to speed fast, with full support from the team along the way!

What we offer

  • Competitive salary: CZK 120,000 – 180,000 gross per month across Senior and Principal level, depending on experience. Your level is benchmarked during the interview process.

  • Learning & Development: Access to Databricks learning resources, certifications and partner academies, alongside regular internal knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops.
  • Technology Playground: Opportunities to work hands-on with modern data and AI technologies, including Databricks and the wider data engineering ecosystem.
  • Flexible Working: A flexible and collaborative working environment, with remote and hybrid working options.
