Rol hakkında

Job Description

AFRY is an international engineering, design and advisory company that works with clients across infrastructure, industry, energy, and buildings to create solutions that support a more sustainable society. We are now looking for a communication specialist who likes to write, shape stories, and turn complex topics into clear, engaging content.

You will be part of the Communications team for our Global Division Transportation and Places, with specific responsibility within the business segments Places and Architecture. In this role, you will report to Senior Communication Business Partner for Places and Architecture.

We are an ambitious team built on trust, openness, and shared knowledge. And because the pace can be high, it helps we can be honest, keep perspective and laugh along the way.

The role combines content creation with campaigns, digital channels, and positioning. You create content with a 360° mindset, turning communication priorities into stories and assets that can be used across channels and formats. You do not need to be a marketing automation specialist or a positioning strategist from day one, but you should be curious about how marketing, messaging and content can help AFRY reach the right audiences.

You will learn how business strategy shapes priorities, client needs and commercial context, and translate this into communication that is relevant, useful and aligned with business goals.

Typical tasks will include

  • Content creation and PR storytelling: Develop clear, on-brand content, thought leadership and PR-ready stories aligned with segment messaging and campaign priorities.
  • Campaign execution: Produce targeted content for key account and focus area needs, and support selected offerings, campaigns and priority areas by helping shape messages, proof points and content assets in collaboration with the business, marketing, creative and corporate teams.
  • Thought leadership support: Turn expert input, market insights and strategic themes into articles, presentations and event messaging.
  • Support employee-generated content and AI-native ways of working by helping business experts contribute clear, client-relevant content more efficiently.
  • Create, adapt and publish content for web, LinkedIn, intranet and selected campaign activities - with a good sense of what works on each channel supporting the sales funnel.
  • Follow up on how content performs and use insights to improve future activities.

We imagine that you have worked with communication, content, or marketing for a few years. You are not expected to be a senior specialist, but you should have enough experience to understand what good content looks like and what it takes to get things done.

For this role, the most important qualities are that you

  • Have strong English skills; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • 1-4 years’ experience with content production, editorial work, social media, campaigns and digital marketing
  • Are curious about digital channels, SEO, marketing automation and how good content and clear positioning can support business development
  • Actively use AI to adapt, localize and reuse content efficiently, and are curious about building simple AI-supported workflows or agents that help experts contribute clear, client-relevant content more efficiently
  • Have good visual judgement and can work with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva or similar. Build good working relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across teams, disciplines and markets
  • Take initiative to clarify input, challenge unclear messages and improve the result

You do not need to tick every box. But you need to write well, understand when content is not clear enough, and be willing to learn the parts of the role you have not worked with before.

Additional Information

This is a global, remote role, so you need to be comfortable working independently and managing your own tasks day to day. At the same time, you will be part of a close international communications team where we stay connected, share input, and support each other.

If you are curious to learn, want to develop as a communicator in a team that values trust, and like the idea of creating content that has a purpose beyond filling channels, this could be a good fit.

1-4 years of experience
