Role Description The Senior ERP Accountant role at TakeLook App is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria, Egypt. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s ERP-based financial processes, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and periodic closing activities. The Senior ERP Accountant will monitor financial data within the ERP system, ensure accurate transaction recording, reconcile accounts, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, maintaining internal controls, and collaborating with operations and technology teams to improve ERP workflows and financial integrations. The role also involves supporting audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations, and mentoring junior accounting staff on ERP best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong ERP accounting experience, including configuration, data validation, and process optimization within enterprise financial systems.
• Proficiency in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, with solid understanding of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support data-driven business decisions.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local tax and regulatory requirements in Egypt.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with other financial tools or business intelligence solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, operations, and technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a tech or high-growth company and comfort with evolving processes and systems is beneficial.
