About the role
The Senior DevOps Engineer is a technical leader responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps solutions for complex FinTech applications. This role involves driving automation initiatives, optimizing infrastructure, and mentoring junior team members.
Focus: Architect resilient, secure and scalable infrastructure; lead automation initiatives and mentor others.

- Architect and implement highly scalable and resilient infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Design and lead the development of advanced CI/CD pipelines with a focus on efficiency and security.
- Lead incident and operational excellence initiatives, developing runbooks, procedures and guiding teams.
- Implement comprehensive automation strategies across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Design and implement centralized and effective monitoring and logging solutions with proactive alerting.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for critical infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
Collaborate strategically with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
6+ years of progressive experience as a DevOps Engineer 1 with significant experience in architecting and implementing complex DevOps solutions. Deep experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration. Experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred.

o Expert proficiency in DevOps practices and a wide range of tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, advanced Docker and Kubernetes management).
o Deep and extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their infrastructure automation capabilities.
o Strong mastery of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
o In-depth knowledge of networking, security principles, and compliance requirements.
o Extensive experience with centralized monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and setting up sophisticated alerting.
