Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with Envalior's direct procurement objectives and policies.
- Contribute to Direct Spend strategy development and category planning.
- Define and execute global sourcing strategies using Strategic Sourcing Methodology (SSM).
- Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and provide direction throughout sourcing projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop innovative suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
- Conduct market and supplier analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead fact-based supplier negotiations and selection processes.
- Manage contract implementation, compliance, and supplier performance.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while managing supply risks.
- Develop and execute regional and global risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and executive stakeholders.
- Drive supplier performance in security of supply, competitiveness, quality, sustainability, innovation, and business commitment.
- Lead supplier audits and support continuous supplier improvement initiatives.
- Identify contract optimization and renegotiation opportunities.
- Define and implement supplier relationship management processes.
- Foster knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption across procurement teams.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and support sourcing initiatives.
- Collect stakeholder feedback and identify further value creation opportunities.
- Strengthen the visibility, credibility, and impact of the Envalior Procurement function across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Chemistry/Materials Science preferred.
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
- Experience developing global sourcing strategies and leading supplier negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex global projects.
- Results-driven with experience delivering cost savings and mitigating supply risks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
- Leadership skills without authority.
- Ability and interest to learn and grow.
- Ability to travel within Europe and occasionally internationally up to 20% of the time.
