About the Team
As the central heartbeat of SAP's Corporate Functions, Corporate Functions Strategy & Operations (CF S&O) drives operational excellence through innovative strategies, exceptional program management, and streamlined operations.
Our Cross Engagements team acts as a central engine that turns cross-board complexities into clear results. The team places a strong emphasis on strengthening risk & compliance and focusing on broad collaboration and operational excellence. Overall, it's about providing rapid support and trusted advisory for complex issues and decision needs — be it firefighting or within strategic frameworks.
Main Tasks
You'll have the real chance to actively shape outcomes by supporting our team in program management, event coordination and project steering across the corporate functions board areas.
You will contribute to cross-board area engagements and play a key role in driving project success by working closely with PMOs and workstream leads and implementing AI capabilities that increase efficiency and enable continuous improvement.
Your work will have a strong project management, communications and event management focus, helping craft how our programs and events are experienced, contents well understood, and remembered by stakeholders across SAP.
Cross-Board Projects
Take on ad hoc tasks and contribute to other strategic cross-functional initiatives across Corporate Functions
Support Project Managers in key project management tasks and daily operations
Contribute to business improvement and simplification initiatives
Help shape the Corporate Functions Strategy & Operations Employee Meeting(s) by contributing to its concept, content, and employee engagement activities, creating an engaging and impactful experience
One of the key programs you will focus on is a SAP-internal Award, even SAP's highest employee recognition program.
Support program design and setup, including AI adoption components, submission guidelines, and evaluation criteria
Contribute to candidate selection, evaluation app development, and voting mechanics
Co-organize a Winners Week with agenda, logistics, coordination speakers
Manage procurement and post-event logistics.
Another focus area is supporting the setup of a major annual employee event at SAP.
Support the end-to-end coordination by preparing steering meetings, tracking progress, and helping connect key planning workstreams across stakeholders
Actively contribute to shaping an engaging and impactful event experience, including agenda design in alignment with SAP's strategic priorities
Support event communications, create branding elements, and contribute to event setup and operational execution before, during, and after the event
What We're Looking For
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's / Master´s or dual-study program, ideally in Business Administration, Communications, Event Mgmt, HR, or a related field
Structured, result-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Team player & capable of working in international environment and virtual teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus)
Passion for AI and a curiosity to explore how it can improve how we work
Hands-on experience with AI tools or building AI-powered workflows is a plus
Interest in corporate strategy, employee programs, and large-scale events
Hands-on ownership in high-visibility corporate programs
A collaborative, dynamic team that values initiative and fresh thinking
