Hotel: Phāea Cretan Malia, a member of Design Hotels

As the Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager at PHĀEA, you are entrusted with overseeing all aspects of the property’s dining experiences, ensuring exceptional service and culinary excellence. Your role involves managing various F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, F&B offered experiences and banquet facilities, while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.

With your leadership, strategic planning, and attention to detail, you play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences that align with PHĀEA's vision of luxury and guest satisfaction.

Job Fit- Responsibilities

  • Implement & communicate the brand strategy within the F&B department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain adherence to all legal standards and regulatory obligations within the F&B domain, including labor laws, health and safety codes, and data privacy regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the F&B team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, staff schedule, performance review, and retention of key F&B team members, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Manage the F&B budget, including cost control measures, revenue targets, and expense management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure efficient stock management and minimize operational costs.
  • Ensure efficient labor productivity by managing staffing levels and schedules effectively.
  • Prepare forecasts and analytical reports to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Oversees all F&B operations, from prearrival to departure, to ensure seamless dining experiences for guests by maintaining high service standards, food quality, and presentation.
  • Address guest feedback and concerns promptly, striving to exceed expectations and enhance satisfaction levels.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols to uphold F&B standards and ensure consistency in service, food preparation, and presentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Food and Beverage management, preferably in a resort
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • English language proficiency.

Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Experience in international luxury brands.
  • Knowledge of local food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Additional language proficiency.
