The Site Engineer – Phase B & C is responsible for supervising and coordinating field activities related to the construction and implementation of FTTH networks. The role involves monitoring construction works, conducting site inspections, coordinating field crews and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards, and addressing technical issues arising during project execution.
- Supervise and coordinate field activities related to the implementation and construction of FTTH networks.
- Conduct site inspections and on-site technical checks to ensure proper execution of works.
- Monitor the progress and quality of construction and installation activities performed by field crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure that network construction is carried out in accordance with project specifications, technical standards, and quality requirements.
- Identify, document, and support the resolution of technical issues arising in the field.
- Monitor the correct use and availability of materials required for construction and installation activities.
- Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, field crews, and the project team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor field activities and ensure compliance with Health & Safety (HSE) requirements.
- Update project management systems with relevant progress, technical, and site information.
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to Project Management regarding the status of the project.
- Ensure that construction activities are completed within the required quality and project timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a University or Technical Institution, preferably in Engineering.
- Previous experience in FTTH projects is essential.
- Good knowledge of construction processes and field operations.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with GIS applications.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical crews and subcontractors.
- Valid driving license.
