Location: Ballycoolin, Dublin 15 (moving to Dunshaughlin, Co Meath very soon!)
We are now looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Administrator. Working closely with the Credit Control Manager and other areas of the finance team this is a broad hands-on role where your experience and value add skills should make a strong contribution to the U Value Insulation Finance team.
The role will focus on our distribution business and will include tasks such as, credit report checks, cash sales management, aged debtors’ reports, expense analysis and assisting in driving timely and accurate data, processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up new accounts for customers on Intact after approval given
- Monitor accounts receivable emails for all companies
- Credit report checks
- Post & allocation of payments
- Cash sales management
- Correspond with customers on information requests ( copy invoices / statements / POD requests with customer service team)
- Liaise with customer service team on price/quantity queries
- Make calls to / answer calls from customers, as required
- Any other duties as required
Requirements
- Possess 1 + year's experience ideally in an accounts customer service.
- Be results driven and have a proactive “can do” attitude.
- Be able to deal with a large volume of transactions and tight deadlines.
- Thrive in a busy, challenging and demanding environment.
- Ability to find a positive solution while balancing different stakeholder needs.
- Be open to challenge the status quo (i.e. the current way that things are done).
- Have strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
- Have strong computer and analytical skills; Knowledge and experience with Microsoft excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have used to working on their own initiative.
