Our fantastic water team are looking for an agile and client-centric professional with water industry experience to join us as Deputy Client Account Manager for one of AECOM’s most important client relationships, Uisce Éireann.
With a strong future pipeline and significant cross-sector programme, you will work alongside our Uisce Éireann Account Manager to shape engagement, identify opportunities for growth and further establish AECOM as a trusted partner.
Client Account Management is a systematic approach to managing and growing our most important client relationships. It focuses on maximising mutual value and achieving shared goals through trust-based partnerships. By placing the client at the centre, we align our capabilities with their needs, developing a deep understanding of their priorities, challenges and long-term objectives. This approach enables AECOM to become an indispensable partner in delivering successful outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Client Relationships & Growth: Build trusted relationships with Uisce Éireann and external stakeholders, understand their priorities, support their strategy, then identify and position AECOM for upcoming opportunities.
- Value Proposition: Translate client needs into targeted strategies, proposals and solutions across AECOM’s disciplines and end markets, using lessons learned and best practice.
- Bids & Opportunities: Manage and optimise bid collateral and support governance around selection processes, partners and Go/No-Go decisions.
- Governance & Risk: Manage conflicts of interest across AECOM contracts and opportunities.
- Data & Intelligence: Maximise Salesforce and other digital tools to strengthen account intelligence, communication and client engagement.
- Knowledge Management: Connect knowledge across delivery teams and business lines, facilitate knowledge sharing and strengthen AECOM’s understanding of Uisce Éireann, the market and wider industry.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
What we’re looking for
- Engineering degree (or equivalent).
- Have strong understanding of Uisce Éireann’s values, structure, goals and objectives, and have knowledge of the regulatory environment in which it operates.
- Experience building strong, trust-based relationships with external clients and stakeholders.
- Experience delivering water industry projects in one or more of: Asset Management, Engineering Design, Environment, Programme/Project Management, Construction Management or Advisory.
- Have the commercial and strategic acumen to identify high-value opportunities and align client and business objectives.
