Join Crown

Crown is Europe’s most trusted full building envelope contractor. We are the partner of choice for hyperscale and mission-critical construction projects across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, delivering full envelope solutions for leading technology, life sciences, critical infrastructure and advanced manufacturing companies.

You shape progress. We protect it.

We’re looking for a Mobilisation Coordinator to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring our project teams are fully prepared, equipped and ready to work when they arrive on site.

This is a hands-on, highly varied role that combines travel, project coordination, logistics, facilities, IT and employee support. You’ll work closely with site teams, HR, IT, Procurement, Marketing and our Travel & Mobilisation team to make sure everything is in place before, during and after project mobilisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Travel to new project locations ahead of mobilisation to assess accommodation, site access, offices, welfare facilities, parking, transport links and local amenities.
  • Inspect proposed accommodation and provide clear reports, photographs and recommendations.
  • Prepare location and mobilisation information packs for employees travelling to site.
  • Coordinate pre-departure briefings and act as a key point of contact for employees before they travel.
  • Liaise with HR, IT, Compliance, Procurement and project teams to ensure all mobilisation requirements are completed.
  • Coordinate the setup of project offices, including furniture, utilities, cleaning, storage, welfare facilities and equipment.
  • Work with IT to ensure laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, connectivity and other equipment are ready before teams arrive.
  • Check Wi-Fi and internet connectivity and help resolve practical issues with IT.
  • Coordinate Crown branding, signage and marketing materials across project locations.
  • Carry out readiness inspections, facilities audits and regular site visits throughout projects.
  • Maintain action trackers, follow up outstanding issues and ensure actions are completed on time.
  • Support employees and site teams with practical issues throughout the project.
  • Coordinate demobilisation, including the return of equipment, furniture and branding materials.
  • Work with IT, Procurement and Travel to coordinate equipment recovery, accommodation releases, service cancellations and property handovers.
  • Prepare close-out reports and identify opportunities to improve future mobilisations.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is practical, organised and proactive, with a strong ability to take ownership and make things happen.

You’ll ideally have

  • Experience in project mobilisation, site setup, facilities, logistics or operational coordination.
  • A full clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel extensively across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and confidence working with hardware, peripherals and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
  • The ability to work independently and build strong relationships with site teams, employees, suppliers and internal departments.
  • Experience working within construction or international project environments is an advantage.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting construction projects or teams working across international locations.
  • A third-level qualification in logistics, facilities management, business, IT, construction management or a related discipline.
  • Additional languages, particularly German, Swedish or Finnish, would be an advantage.

Benefits

This is a highly mobile role, with extensive travel across Ireland, the UK and Europe, including regular overnight stays and periods away from home.

Crown will arrange and cover work-related flights, accommodation and car hire, so you can focus on supporting our project teams and ensuring each mobilisation runs smoothly.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of international projects, meet teams across the business and play a key role in how Crown delivers projects across Europe.
