Technical Manager (Civil / Architectural)
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager (Civil /Architectural) to lead the Technical Department for large-scale building and infrastructure projects in Kuwait. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensure the successful delivery of engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Technical Department.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
- Coordinate Civil, Architectural, Structural, MEP, and BIM engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.
- Manage technical coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Lead value engineering initiatives and resolve technical challenges.
- Review RFIs, technical queries, engineering changes, and design revisions.
- Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures across engineering activities.
- Mentor and support engineering teams while promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience.
- At least 10 years in a Technical Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing large-scale building, infrastructure, or government projects.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and international engineering standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience with Ministry or Government projects is highly preferred.
- Ministry approval/registration (where applicable) is an advantage.
