Acerca del rol

Are you a Software Engineer who loves moving fast, taking full ownership of and pushing the boundaries of technology with cutting-edge AI coding agents? If you thrive on building high-impact fintech features, this role is for you.

Your role

You won’t be stuck in corporate hierarchy here, we find hierarchy a difficult word. Instead, you’ll join a cross-functional team alongside product, design, and business colleagues. Together, you own a specific part of the customer journey end-to-end: from landing pages to loan applications, repayments, and collections. Real ownership, zero passing the buck.

Your responsibilities

The interesting part: our lending platform grew 55% last year and has to keep scaling, and we experiment every day with how coding agents change the way software gets built. Day to day, you:

  • Build features end to end across backend, frontend, database and queues: TypeScript with NestJS and Next.js, on Postgres, Redis, SNS and SQS
  • Connect systems by building and maintaining integrations with external partners and internal services, e.g. credit bureaus, payment providers, our CRM (HubSpot) and our loan ledger (Mambu)
  • Partner up with business departments to decide what gets built and why
  • Leverage AI: experiment with coding agents and push the boundaries of how software gets built safely and fast
  • Keep the codebase safe to change as we scale: tests, contracts between services, alerts, reviewing agent-generated code
  • Ship small and verify in production: logs, traces and metrics in Grafana, errors in Sentry, feature flags and A/B tests in PostHog
  • Run what you ship on AWS and Kubernetes, with infrastructure in Terraform and pipelines in GitLab CI
  • Production support and blameless incident follow-up that fixes the system, not the person

What you bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on full stack engineering experience in any programming language, with real production ownership
  • Solid database and async systems

Experience

data modelling, schema migrations on live systems, query performance; queues, retries, idempotency

  • Curious and already actively experimenting with AI coding agents and agentic workflows.
  • Analytical mindset—you find the true "source of truth" before patching anything.
  • A team player who cuts through the noise. You turn vague ideas into sharp questions, pull the right colleagues in early, and give code reviews that actually move the work forward.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technology and its tooling, e.g. containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure as code
  • Experience in fintech, web tracking, or marketing tools is a nice bonus, but not a dealbreaker.

Who we are

While small businesses drive the economy, when it comes to financing, traditional systems still move at the speed of paper. We founded BridgeFund in 2018 to change that. We've stripped away the bureaucracy: an entrepreneur applies in just five minutes, and our advanced technology processes the data quickly and efficiently. By combining cutting-edge automation with real human logic, we make financing decisions that are both fast and fair.

We grew 55% last year and have proudly fast-tracked over €700 million in loans to entrepreneurs. Our next goal? To scale our data capabilities by making our platform even sharper, ensuring support for the next generation of entrepreneurs

What we offer

A competitive salary between €6,358 and €6,930 based on 40 hours per week. Growth is intentional here. We use an internal competency framework to help you track your progress and continuously evolve in your role.
