We are seeking one or more professionals for the role of Dancer, Instructor, and Business Developer. This blended role reflects our belief that great artists can also help shape the growth of a business. You will spend your time both on the dance floor and behind the scenes, helping expand our customer base and supporting the future of dance in the region.

You will play a central role in day-to-day operations. This includes

Operations: Managing the studio environment, marking attendance accurately, and ensuring the premises remain professional and welcoming.

Finance: Collecting payments responsibly and assisting with basic financial record-keeping.

Customer Growth: Supporting client outreach, retention, and expansion into new teaching and event opportunities.

Strategy: Contributing to new programmes, identifying market trends, and managing media content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the 8count website.

We value independent thinkers who can transition from a high-energy choreography session to the administrative work needed to help a busy studio thrive.

Required Styles and ExpertiseOur studio offers a wide variety of disciplines, and we are looking for instructors with experience across multiple dance styles. We have a particular interest in candidates who can demonstrate familiarity or high-level expertise in the following:

• Urban.
• Commercial.
• Contemporary.
• Heels technique.
• Acro.
• Afro.
• Salsa and Latin styles.

We also encourage instructors to bring their own preferred dance styles to the stage, studio, and dance floor. We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to additional styles such as Bellydance, Ballet, and Ballroom. Whether you specialise in a traditional style or a fusion approach, we welcome your artistic signature and will support your growth.

High-Stakes EventsBeing part of 8count means performing at a high professional level. A core part of this role involves representing the company at corporate galas, premium hotel showcases, and other prestigious events. This is a demanding and competitive environment that requires resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

Applicants should be prepared for a schedule that reflects the entertainment industry. This may include late-night and early-morning performances, often following a day of instruction. You may also perform in challenging settings such as outdoor stages or fast-paced festival venues. Travel within Oman and across GCC countries for assignments is an essential part of the role.

Teaching Toddlers to SeniorsWe are passionate about sharing the joy of dance. A key component of this role is a genuine commitment to dance education. Our instructors should be versatile enough to engage a wide range of age groups, including:

• Early Years: Creating a fun, safe, and imaginative environment for young dancers, especially during term break workshops.
• Youth and Teens: Mentoring the next generation of performers and preparing them for internal and external competitions.
• Adults and Corporate Clients: Leading high-energy classes that combine technical learning with fitness and social engagement.
• Nightlife Animation: Encouraging adults in nightclubs, bars, and hotels to participate in fun and responsible dance activities led by you and other members of the 8count team.
• Older Adults: Providing gentler movement sessions and social connection for senior community members.

Professional StandardTo maintain our reputation as a leader in the GCC, we require staff to have a solid foundation in formal dance training. We welcome both emerging and experienced professionals, provided they can demonstrate confidence, professionalism, and the ability to contribute from day one.

Candidates should have at least some professional performance or teaching experience beyond their initial training. We are looking for individuals who can show readiness, presence, and commitment to quality.

Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive package designed to support a comfortable lifestyle while you focus on your work. The two-year contract, with renewal options for suitable candidates, includes a total monthly salary of OMR 420 tax free.

Alternative compensation arrangements may be negotiated for the right person.

• Return flight allowance to your home country upon visa renewal every two years, capped at OMR 400.
