Oracle Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Procurement Functional Lead to lead the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Procurement solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive functional expertise across Oracle Procurement modules, work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, support end-to-end implementations, and ensure successful delivery of Oracle Procurement projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Procurement modules, Oracle standard business processes, integrations, customizations (CEMLI), and experience delivering multiple Oracle EBS implementation and rollout projects.

Functional Consulting & Business Analysis

• Conduct functional evaluations and detailed business process analysis.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Lead requirement gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Perform gap analysis between current business processes and Oracle EBS capabilities.
• Recommend best-fit Oracle solutions aligned with business objectives.

Oracle EBS Procurement Solution Design

• Design scalable Oracle Procurement solutions based on business requirements.
• Configure Oracle EBS Procurement modules.
• Prepare functional solution design documents.
• Define application setup configurations.
• Support solution architecture discussions.
• Ensure Oracle best practices are followed throughout implementation.

Configure and support

• Oracle Purchasing
• Oracle iProcurement
• Oracle Sourcing
• Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM)
• Oracle iSupplier Portal

Support end-to-end procurement lifecycle processes.

Implementation & Rollout

• Lead Oracle EBS implementation and rollout projects.
• Configure Oracle Procurement modules.
• Support CRP, SIT, UAT, and Go-Live activities.
• Coordinate production deployments.
• Support post-production stabilization.
• Ensure successful delivery within project timelines.

Customization & Integration

• Work with technical teams on Oracle CEMLI components.
• Support:

• Define functional specifications for custom developments.

• Maintain project documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of Oracle EBS Procurement Functional Consulting experience.
• Experience in 4–5 Oracle EBS Implementation or Rollout Projects.
• Strong experience in Oracle Procurement business processes.
• Experience working with enterprise procurement transformations.
• Experience supporting large-scale Oracle ERP implementations.
