About the role
Job Purpose
Lead reservoir engineering evaluations for upstream oil & gas opportunities and provide technical expertise to support investment decisions, asset assessments, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate upstream oil & gas assets including exploration, appraisal, development, and producing fields.
- Assess reservoir performance, recovery potential, and development feasibility.
- Conduct resource and reserves evaluations, production forecasting, and uncertainty assessments.
- Support field development planning, well placement, and production strategy decisions.
- Participate in technical due diligence for acquisitions, farm-ins, and asset transactions.
- Evaluate producing assets and identify opportunities for production optimisation and enhanced recovery.
- Provide reservoir engineering input for portfolio screening, opportunity ranking, and investment recommendations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
- Experience across exploration, appraisal, development, and producing assets.
- Strong experience in reservoir performance analysis, reserves evaluation, and production forecasting.
- Experience in asset evaluation, reserves assessment, or technical due diligence.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams integrating geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering.
- Proficiency in industry software such as Eclipse, MBAL, OFM, Aries, or equivalent tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree (MSc) preferred.
