Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Management (FM) Engineer, located in Doha, Qatar. The FM Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring efficient functionality of facilities and systems, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Tasks will include planning and scheduling maintenance work, evaluating operational performance of equipment and systems, supervising on-site teams or contractors, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with routine inspection schedules. The role requires collaboration across teams to achieve facilities management goals and support operational success.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Facilities Management, including expertise in HVAC, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, and Building Maintenance.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards within the industry.
- Technical problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting and optimizing facility operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an on-site, multidisciplinary team while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related technical field, is required.
- Work experience in the Oil & Gas, Construction, or Facility Management sector is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of industry-specific tools, standards, and best practices is highly desirable.
