Product Owner, Home Vertical

We're launching a new e-commerce vertical for home within QIC digital hub and are looking for a Product Owner who can take this from 0 1: someone who's seen how this space works at scale and can bring both the playbook and the judgment to adapt it to our context.

ResponsibilitiesOwn the product strategy and roadmap for the Home vertical end-to-end, from concept through launch and scaleDefine the MVP, prioritize features, and drive fast iteration cycles based on user and market feedbackBuild the business case: market sizing, unit economics, monetisation model, competitive positioningWork cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial/partnerships teams to shipSet up and own key product metrics (conversion, GMV, retention, listing quality, etc.)

and report against themIdentify and manage strategic partnerships (developers, agencies, banks/mortgage providers, if relevant)Build and eventually lead a small team as the vertical maturesWe offerLong-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation periodWe are diverse our digital nomads work remotely from 25+ different countriesPayment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFTFull-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezoneVacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 vacation days, 10 sick offsPerformance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raisePotential opportunity to apply for a Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar Requirements3-5+ years in product management or product strategy, ideally with direct experience in real estate/home e-commerce or classifiedsTrack record of launching a product or vertical from scratchStrong commercial and analytical instincts comfortable building a business case and reading unit economicsHigh ownership and drive genuinely energised by ambiguity and building something new, not just executing a defined roadmapSound judgment and stakeholder maturity able to hold their own with senior leadership and cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills in English
