Support the implementation of contract management procedures, governance requirements and reporting standards across the portfolio. Provide contractual advice and support to the Client, FIDIC Engineer, Delivery Partner and project teams. Administer and evaluate variations, claims, payments, extensions of time and final accounts. Identify, assess and support the negotiation and resolution of Contractor claims and Employer entitlements.
Coordinate the preparation of contractual position papers, entitlement assessments, delay analyses and supporting documentation. Maintain contract registers, claims logs, variation logs, risk registers and other contract management records. Monitor contractual and commercial risks and escalate potential issues to the Senior Contracts Manager and project leadership.
Work closely with Project Controls, Commercial, Cost and Planning teams to align schedule, cost, risk and change information with contractual requirements. Support the assessment of extensions of time, acceleration, delay, disruption, liquidated damages and other schedule-related contractual matters. Support controls to prevent overpayment, unsupported claims and unauthorized commitments.
Maintain effective communication with the Client, Contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders on contractual and commercial matters. Prepare regular contract management reports, dashboards and updates for project and portfolio reviews. Participate in progress meetings, commercial reviews, governance meetings and claims discussions. Support contract close-out, including final accounts, release of retention, warranties, guarantees and outstanding claims.
