Job Description – Business Analyst (Cargo Airline – API & Technical)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with experience in Cargo Airline operations and strong API/integration knowledge. The successful candidate will bridge business and technical teams, define functional and integration requirements, and support the delivery of scalable airline cargo solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business, functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze existing cargo airline processes and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with architects and developers on API integrations and system interfaces.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, API specifications and workflow diagrams.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for successful project delivery.
- Support SIT, UAT and production deployment activities.
- Validate API responses and integration scenarios.
- Ensure traceability from requirements through delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong Business Analysis experience in Cargo Airline domain.
- Mandatory hands-on understanding of REST APIs, JSON and system integrations.
- Ability to read API documentation and collaborate with technical teams.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Swagger/Postman or similar tools.
- Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Exposure to airline cargo systems and integration platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and microservices is a plus.
