Sr. Project Manager – Fit Out & Supervision Manages portfolio of clients with multiple fit out and supervision projects, ensuring technical excellence and engineering compliance throughout execution. Responsible for delivering assigned revenues from specific clients through repeat business generated by flawless project execution and superior site supervision. Consistently delivers planned profit margins while maintaining quality standards and engineering specifications.
Completes projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion, with particular attention to fit out scope and supervision requirements. Typically manages complex projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors), particularly those with technical and engineering complexities. Oversees more complex clients and fit out projects, providing on-site supervision and engineering oversight to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
Exercises decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in identifying risk and uncertainty, developing mitigation strategies specific to fit out and supervision activities. Directs staff to minimize exposure to claims through rigorous site supervision, quality control, and adherence to engineering standards. Supervises and mentors Project Managers overseeing multiple fit out projects or program portfolios, ensuring consistent technical delivery and site management excellence.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of progressive project management experience in fit out, supervision, and construction delivery Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline Demonstrated expertise in managing complex fit out and supervision projects with technical and engineering complexities Proven track record of delivering projects within planned profit margins while maintaining quality standards and engineering specifications Strong knowledge of building codes, design specifications, and engineering compliance requirements Extensive experience in on-site supervision and engineering oversight with demonstrated ability to ensure regulatory and technical adherence Proven leadership experience mentoring and directing Project Managers across multiple project portfolios Advanced risk identification and mitigation expertise, particularly with Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) in construction environments Demonstrated ability to minimize claims exposure through rigorous quality control and site management excellence
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification Advanced degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration Experience managing large-scale client portfolios with repeat business generation Expertise in RTF analysis and complex project risk assessment Background in both design and execution phases of fit out projects Experience with engineering compliance documentation and building code interpretation
