About the role
Job Summary The Accommodation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of staff accommodation, ensuring a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operations and overall condition of staff accommodation. Ensure rooms, common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and facilities are clean, safe, and properly maintained. Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance or safety issues for prompt action. Monitor room allocations, occupancy, check-in, check-out, and employee accommodation records. Coordinate with HR, Engineering, Security, and Housekeeping regarding accommodation-related matters.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, accommodation rules, health, safety, and hygiene standards. Address employees’ accommodation concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate records of room assignments, occupancy, maintenance requests, and accommodation inventory. Monitor accommodation supplies and ensure required items are available. Support the implementation and enforcement of accommodation rules and regulations.
Handle emergencies or incidents within the accommodation and report them to the concerned department. Conduct regular accommodation inspections and follow up on corrective actions. Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with employees while ensuring discipline and proper conduct. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in staff accommodation, hotel operations, or a similar supervisory role. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage employees and handle accommodation-related issues professionally. Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and accommodation standards. Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. Basic computer and reporting skills. Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational requirements.
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
