Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a proactive and driven Senior Recruiter to support talent acquisition across our fast‑growing European business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global consultancy with ambitious regional growth plans.

Based in Stockholm, you will play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent for our Industrial, Science & Technology team in Europe, while supporting recruitment across Data Centre, Life Science and Manufacturing projects in the Nordics.

This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end recruitment role where you will identify, engage, and hire exceptional project managers, cost managers, and project controls specialists who help deliver world‑class construction projects. You will collaborate closely with the wider European recruitment team, contributing to a high‑performing, fast‑paced environment.

This role would suit an experienced recruitment professional with corporate experience, ideally within a professional services environment, or agency recruiter from a construction background who is looking for more variety and responsibility in a corporate recruitment role within a thriving international consultancy.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead and execute the end-to-end recruitment process for the area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for identifying and sourcing active candidates.
  • Understand and navigate the local market, promoting market activity and best practices.
  • Responsible for ATS (SmartRecruiters) data accuracy and process compliance, from raising requisitions and job posting through to hiring.
  • Engage with key programme, country, and regional stakeholders to understand the short-, mid-, and long-term recruitment needs, promoting a positive, proactive response to meeting demand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and successfully liaise with functions such as HR, Business Operations, Global Mobility, Hiring Managers, and Country MDs to ensure a seamless hiring process.
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience through proactive communication, timely updates, and professional stakeholder management.
  • Act as a trusted recruitment partner, providing market insights and guidance to stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
  • Work closely with the wider recruitment team, including coaching, mentoring, and line managing colleagues as agreed.
  • Ensure compliance regarding CI and EDI within the European recruitment process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally gained within a corporate/in-house talent acquisition function or a recruitment agency with a strong focus on permanent placements.
  • Experience in the construction market recruiting project managers, cost managers, project controls specialists and and other related disciplines.
  • Passion for recruiting and finding top talents in a challenging and competitive environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Strong team player who builds positive relationships across functions
  • Fluency in English is essential for this role, a Nordic language (Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish) would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Commercial Awareness, with the ability to balance business objectives, project requirements, and market conditions.
