عن الوظيفة
GARDP Foundation is a not-for-profit global health organization driven to protect people from the rise and spread of drug-resistant infections, one of the biggest threats to us all. By forging the public and private partnerships that matter, we develop and make accessible antibiotic treatments for people who need them.
With many researchers in the antibiotics field leaving or re-focusing their activities, there is a risk of losing invaluable experience and knowledge. This know-how is crucial for the discovery, research, and development of urgently needed antibiotic treatments.
To address this challenge, GARDP’s Scientific Affairs team aims to improve, accelerate, and streamline drug discovery and research and development by connecting researchers young and old from academia, start-ups, biotech and large companies with established and retired antibiotic researchers and developers, and by facilitating learning and knowledge exchange. Many of the Scientific Affairs activities are delivered via REVIVE (https://revive.gardp.
org/) a platform created to ensure that expertise and knowledge is made available, and the antimicrobial R&D community is supported online to connect, share, and acquire information. The activities include technical REVIVE webinars and AMR Discussion webinars, Antimicrobial Viewpoint articles, Antimicrobial Encyclopaedia and Library, conference symposia and the Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Conference (ACC).
All Scientific Affairs/REVIVE outputs and the GARDP webinars are hosted and available free of charge worldwide on the REVIVE website.
