Role DescriptionThe Storage Product Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is responsible for independently developing and managing the company’s storage product portfolio, including HDDs, SSDs, memory cards, USB flash drives, and other consumer storage products.
The Product Manager will source products directly from manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers; negotiate pricing and commercial terms; manage inventory and profitability; and work closely with the sales team to drive revenue. Responsibilities also include monitoring market trends, identifying new brands and opportunities, setting competitive pricing, supporting key customer negotiations, and expanding vendor and reseller relationships across local and international markets.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in storage products, IT hardware distribution, product management, purchasing, or sales.
- Strong knowledge of HDDs, SSDs, memory cards, USB drives, and related consumer storage products.
- Established relationships with storage vendors, distributors, resellers, and channel partners.
- Proven ability to independently source products and negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and supply arrangements.
- Strong commercial understanding of pricing, margins, inventory planning, and market demand.
- Ability to work closely with the sales team to develop opportunities and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
- Experience in the Middle East, Africa, CIS, or other international IT hardware markets is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
