At Fairmont Hotel Dubai, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations.
Reporting to Guest Services Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Welcome and assist Guests’ needs according to Accor Brand Standards Remain observant and respond to each Guest who they come in contact with Give clear information when explaining procedures and providing information Care for Guests’ immediate needs by getting them comfortable into the room upon registration into the Hotel, as well as assisting in the departure Be an ambassador of Fairmont Dubai by providing an excellent first impression Deliver faxes, mail, parcels, and run errands in a timely manner Greet all Guests courteously, using the Guest’s name whenever possible Use the Guest’s name at least 3 times during the conversation Explain room features and Hotel Services to Guests Adhere to procedures of Key Control Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations Report suspicious people, parcels, vehicles, and behaviors to Security Ensure adherence to Accor Code of Ethics
Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills Must be Guest-oriented, have a vibrant personality, and radiate enthusiasm to assist people Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset Must be physically fit in order to lift items up to 30 kilograms Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment Must be flexible in terms of working hours
