We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Barista to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Coffee Shop Supervisor, you will be the heart of our café operations, delivering exceptional service while crafting high-quality beverages that delight our customers. Consistently deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to all customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits Prepare and sell specialty coffee drinks and beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, cold brews, and specialty teas Handle end-to-end customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring each beverage meets our quality standards Answer customer questions and present various beverage offerings with enthusiasm, providing personalized recommendations based on individual preferences Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee bean supplies, stocking brewing equipment, and ensuring adequate stock of supplies and baked goods Operate and maintain coffee equipment by following operational instructions, troubleshooting minor issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs when necessary Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines specific to UAE regulations Improve service quality by studying processes, evaluating results, and proposing innovative improvements that enhance operational efficiency Maintain the professional appearance of the café and coffee bar, ensuring all areas remain organized and inviting Develop and expand your coffee knowledge by participating in training opportunities and staying informed about coffee industry trends Enhance our café's reputation by taking ownership of customer requests and exploring opportunities to add value to every interaction Demonstrate resilience and composure while working efficiently under pressure during peak service hours Follow all sustainability standards and initiatives in daily operations Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills with the ability to engage customers in meaningful conversations Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy Highly responsible, reliable, and punctual with a proven track record of consistent attendance Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards in beverage preparation and presentation Professional appearance and demeanor that reflects our brand values Retail and/or food and beverage experience (considered an asset) Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy shifts while maintaining quality Knowledge of espresso machines, coffee equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting Understanding of coffee bean varieties, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems Food safety and hygiene certification or willingness to obtain certification as required by UAE regulations Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends as needed
