Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, project accounting, budgeting, VAT compliance, and accounting operations for construction projects. The role also oversees cash flow, project costs, and financial controls to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
- Manage project accounting, general ledger, cost centres, and WIP reporting.
- Handle VAT compliance, budgeting, cash flow, and project cost analysis.
- Monitor retentions, bank guarantees, performance bonds, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and support audits and IFRS compliance.
- Utilize ERP systems and accounting software for financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- ACCA or CMA qualification preferred.
- Construction industry experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
