About PFM

Prop Firm Match Global FZCO is a leading platform for discovering, comparing, and selecting top proprietary trading firms. We provide traders with tools and features to easily compare challenge details, read verified reviews, see accurate payout data, and much more. We're a fast-moving, fully remote team with members from all around the world caring deeply about the quality of what we build. Our culture values ownership, clear communication, and practical impact over fluff.

About the department

Marketing owns how PFM finds, engages, and converts traders across every channel we use to grow. Affiliate and influencer partnerships are one of our biggest acquisition channels - over $60K a month in spend - and as that function matures under our Owned Media team, our priority is turning it into a well-negotiated, well-tracked channel instead of one that runs on relationships alone.

About the role

The Affiliate Manager builds an affiliate channel that creates measurable, profitable growth for PFM: turning the right partner relationships into qualified traffic, conversions, and durable revenue, while protecting deal quality and spend efficiency. This role establishes the commercial discipline and tracking PFM needs to scale partnerships into priority markets with confidence.

It backfills our outgoing Affiliate Manager as they step into leading Owned Media, and works alongside our Influencer Partnerships Specialist, providing light day-to-day direction on their pipeline and priorities. Without a dedicated owner here, deals on one of our largest acquisition channels get missed or under-negotiated.

Performance objectives

Objective 1 - Build and activate a productive affiliate portfolio

Outcome: Within the first 6–12 months, the active portfolio is stronger in priority markets and produces a growing share of qualified traffic and attributable conversions - not simply more signed partners.

Typical tasks

  • Map priority regions, partner segments, and target accounts with the Head of Owned Media.
  • Source and qualify affiliates on audience fit, traffic quality, commercial potential, and brand suitability.
  • Move qualified prospects through outreach, negotiation, onboarding, activation, and first performance review.
  • Re-engage, expand, or exit existing partners based on contribution and strategic fit.

Objective 2 - Improve deal quality and partner economics

Outcome: New and renewed agreements have clear economics and accountable deliverables; spend and effort shift toward partnerships with stronger return.

Typical tasks

  • Negotiate commission structures, fees, placements, deliverables, tracking requirements, and review points.
  • Model expected cost and return before committing spend or recommending exceptions.
  • Document agreed terms and coordinate approvals, contracts, and handoffs.
  • Review underperforming deals and recommend renewal, renegotiation, or exit.

Objective 3 - Make affiliate-driven results measurable and actionable

Outcome: Leadership can see attributable revenue, cost, and conversion quality by partner; material data gaps are resolved and commercial decisions follow the evidence.

Typical tasks

  • Set tracking and attribution requirements before launch and verify links, codes, and reporting access.
  • Reconcile partner-reported activity with internal traffic, sales, and commission data alongside Analytics & Data and Finance.
  • Investigate material discrepancies, low-quality traffic, and conversion changes through to resolution.
  • Turn performance reviews into specific actions on partner mix, terms, creative, placement, or budget.

Objective 4 - Build a repeatable partnership operating system and content governance

Outcome: Priority markets have a visible, qualified pipeline; launches and reviews happen on time; agreed placements go live as contracted, and partner content about PFM is accurate and up to date; the channel can scale without losing commercial control or partner experience.

Typical tasks

  • Maintain a current deal pipeline with owner, stage, expected value, next step, and decision date.
  • Establish onboarding, briefing, compliance, and performance-review standards for partners.
  • Coordinate with the Influencer Partnerships Specialist on shared deal governance and measurement without duplicating ownership of influencer negotiations.
  • Monitor what partners publish about PFM for accuracy, brand suitability, and compliance, and act on issues through to resolution.
  • Verify that agreed placements and deliverables go live on time and as specified, and keep partner-facing offers, promo codes, creatives, and campaign details current.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar affiliate, influencer, or partnerships role, with hands-on ownership of deal sourcing and negotiation end to end.
  • Fluent professional English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong AI proficiency — comfortable using AI as part of daily work, including experience building or using small automations to improve outreach, tracking, or reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Docusign and Calendly, or comparable contract and scheduling tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack for documentation, scheduling, forms, communication, and remote collaboration.
  • Basic working knowledge of partnership/affiliate contract terms, with the ability to identify when Legal or Finance input is required.
  • Strong organization and follow-through — able to manage a multi-deal pipeline where a missed follow-up can cost a partnership or measurable revenue.
  • Clear, direct communication — able to prepare and communicate deal terms, performance updates, and negotiation outcomes accurately to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong discretion and judgment, given regular access to spend data, deal terms, and partner performance information.
  • A relationship-first negotiation style — able to build trust with partners while still protecting PFM's commercial interests.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills — comfortable working closely with Analytics & Data, Marketing, Strategic Initiatives, and leadership to bring deals and tracking work to completion.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a fully remote, global, and multicultural team.
  • Experience in a fast-scaling organization where affiliate/partnership processes are still being built and improved.
  • Deeper experience with AI integrations, workflow automation, and attribution/tracking tooling beyond basic usage.

Hiring stages

We keep our process simple, transparent, and respectful of your time. Here's what to expect:

  • Application screening – We carefully review all applications to identify candidates whose background aligns with the role's requirements. You'll receive a timely and transparent update on your application status.
  • Video intro + role fit questionnaire – A short async step - no scheduling required. You'll record a brief video introduction and complete a written questionnaire, helping us understand your background and fit without either side committing to a live call upfront.
  • Discovery HR interview – A conversation with our People team focused on company and culture match - how PFM works, what remote ownership looks like day to day, and what success in this role looks like.
  • Practical task – A short, scoped exercise based on a real PFM affiliate/partnership challenge, not an abstract problem, designed to give both sides a realistic view of the work before committing further.
  • Professional interview – A conversation with the Head of Owned Media focused on your negotiation experience, how you've owned an affiliate or partnership channel end to end, and how you handle sensitive or ambiguous deal situations.
  • Functional interview – A broader professional conversation exploring how you work with commercial teams and partners, how you structure and present data to support business decisions, and how you identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Peer & values conversation – A conversation with a peer from across the team focused on values, culture, and how you work best. You'll have plenty of space to ask questions and get a real feel for life at PFM.

If there's a strong mutual match, we start with an informal conversation to align on expectations, then follow up with a formal written offer. Full transparency throughout, and time for you to make an informed decision.

To keep things fully transparent and mutually fair, we complete a reference check before the formal offer is extended. No surprises - just part of how we make careful, informed decisions on both sides.
