Position Overview The Architectural Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring architectural, interior design, fit-out, and theming works during construction to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, contract requirements, and local authority regulations.

The role requires experience in theme parks, themed entertainment destinations, attractions, immersive experiences, and interior design projects , with a strong focus on workmanship, finishing quality, and adherence to the design intent.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections of architectural, interior design, fit-out, and theming works executed by the Contractor. Verify that all works are carried out in accordance with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, project specifications, approved material submittals, and contract requirements. Inspect architectural finishes, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, façades, doors, and specialty architectural elements.

Monitor the installation of themed elements, decorative features, show sets, themed façades, and guest-experience components. Inspect interior fit-out works including FF&E, feature finishes, decorative ceilings, themed architectural components, and specialist interior installations. Ensure that mock-ups, samples, and material installations comply with approved standards and design requirements.

Coordinate inspections with architectural, structural, MEP, theming, and attraction teams to ensure proper interface management. Review and verify completed works prior to raising inspection requests and handover activities. Witness testing and inspection activities related to waterproofing, façades, fire-rated assemblies, architectural finishes, and specialist installations. Identify defects, non-conformances, and workmanship issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, site observations, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions. Participate in site meetings and provide technical feedback regarding architectural and ID-related construction activities. Monitor compliance with project quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience , including at least 5 years in construction supervision consultancy roles. Proven experience in architectural inspection and supervision of large-scale construction projects. Experience in theme parks, themed entertainment projects, hospitality developments, museums, attractions, or interior fit-out projects is highly preferred.

Experience working on major projects in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi. Thorough knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority regulations, and international building codes. Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows, and Microsoft Office applications.
