About the role

Policy & Standards Engineer

๐Ÿš€ Exciting opportunity to join a newly established Policy & Standards Team within the Design Authority function! You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the engineering governance framework that supports safe, compliant, and effective project delivery across a highly regulated environment.

๐Ÿ“– Produce and update Engineering Policies, Standards and Guidance

๐Ÿค Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and assurance functions

๐ŸŒŸ What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating and maintaining engineering policies and standards
  • Supporting robust engineering governance and assurance activities
  • Developing processes that underpin design authority responsibilities
  • Ensuring consistency, compliance and quality across engineering activities
  • Providing guidance to support effective engineering decision-making

โš›๏ธ Nuclear industry experience is essential

We're seeking an experienced engineering professional with a background in engineering management, governance and technical assurance rather than detailed design engineering.
