À propos du poste
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead our Point of Sale (POS) and in-store communications delivery for major retail clients. You will take full ownership of POS creative briefs from conception through in-store execution, managing complex timelines, stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional teams. With a strong background in POS creative production, print management, and campaign delivery, you will ensure all deliverables exceed client expectations and meet agreed SLAs.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of POS and in-store communications experience, a proactive problem-solving approach, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Client Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned briefs, managing client relationships from initial briefing through final in-store delivery
- Establish clear CPAs (Critical Path Agreements) and communicate project timelines, milestones, and dependencies with stakeholders
- Lead regular progress meetings with clients, artworkers and production partners; escalate risks and challenges proactively
- Manage the POS Hub and relevant client collaboration platforms to maintain transparency and stakeholder alignment
Project Management
- Interrogate briefs thoroughly with clients and production partners to ensure all requirements, specifications, and regulatory considerations are clarified before production commences
- Manage the complete POS production lifecycle: design handoff, print specification, approval cycles, print production, and in-store delivery coordination
- Coordinate with printers and suppliers, managing print quotes, timelines, and quality standards in line with agency best practices
- Log all briefs and deliverables into required tracking systems (Monday, Storyteq, Media Centre) accurately and timely to ensure robust audit trails and reporting
- Document and track all client approvals using agreed processes, capturing sign-off records systematically
- Monitor project health continuously, flagging delays, resource constraints, and quality concerns to the Senior Delivery Manager and relevant stakeholders
Internal ITG/Team Management
- Lead and mentor Project Managers reporting into this role; provide regular feedback, career development opportunities, and clear performance expectations
- Maintain close visibility with creative studios, production teams, and design partners through regular sync meetings
- Manage direct reports' leave, sick cover, and workload balancing to maintain consistent service delivery
- Support process improvement initiatives and drive adoption of improved ways of working across the PM function
Tracking & Reporting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate work-in-progress (WIP) tracking and data capture to support reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Submit accurate project costs to clients and provide regular PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) spend updates and budget forecasting
- Monitor workstream financials and alert Senior Delivery Manager to any budget overruns or variance issues
What Success Looks Like
- You build and maintain trust-based partnerships with clients; you manage their expectations constructively and aren't afraid to challenge scope or timelines appropriately
- You deliver 100% of POS briefs on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards with zero rework
- Your project plans are detailed, realistic, and communicated clearly to all stakeholders; risks are identified and mitigated early
- You proactively solve challenges and drive process improvements, rather than waiting for problems to escalate
- Your direct reports feel supported, developed, and clear on expectations; they achieve their delivery targets
- Data and reporting are always accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in POS and in-store communications production, including end-to-end campaign and print management
- Agency background (advertising, marketing, or retail-focused creative agency preferred)
- Proven expertise in print production, supplier management, and retail compliance requirements
- Demonstrated line management experience and ability to develop and mentor teams
- Strong project management and planning skills; proficiency with workflow and task management tools (Monday, Asana, or similar)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in client-facing interactions
- Meticulous attention to detail with a relentless focus on quality, accuracy, and brand/regulatory compliance
- Advanced Excel and Google Drive skills; comfort with data analysis and reporting
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent briefing, commissioning, proofreading, and editing skills; commitment to best-practice processes
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build collaborative relationships across creative, operational, and client teams
