About the role
We’re looking for a Resales & Staircasing Progressor to join our Sales team in Wakefield, helping customers navigate the shared ownership sales journey.
You’ll coordinate property transactions from instruction through to completion, covering shared ownership resales, staircasing, transfers and other property sales. Working closely with customers, solicitors, estate agents, financial advisers and colleagues across Together Housing Group, you’ll help ensure each transaction progresses smoothly, accurately and in line with the relevant requirements.

Please note: This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 15 months.
Requirements
Outline of Key Responsibilities of the Resales & Staircasing Progressor...:
- Manage the administration and progression of shared ownership resales, staircasing, transfers, stock disposals, land sales and related property transactions.
- Coordinate cases from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions progress accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure transactions comply with relevant policies, procedures, lease conditions, funding requirements and Homes England Capital Funding Guide requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, solicitors, estate agents, surveyors, financial advisers, local authorities and internal teams.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling enquiries, maintaining telephone cover during office hours, and keeping customers informed throughout their transaction with clear and timely updates.
- Manage and prioritise your sales pipeline, identifying issues, resolving routine queries and escalating matters when necessary.
- Coordinate information and documentation across internal departments to support applications, compliance checks, nominations, approvals and completions.
- Maintain accurate case notes, records, databases and audit trails, ensuring files and systems are complete and up to date.
- Support internal and external audits by checking and providing accurate transaction records and compliance evidence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Sales, Development, Finance and Home Ownership to deliver a joined-up service.
- Take ownership of your workload, maintaining accuracy and high standards while managing competing deadlines.
- Contribute to customer feedback, continuous improvement and the development of effective working practices.
We are looking for someone who has...
- Experience working in a customer-focused administration or sales progression environment.
- Excellent administration, organisation and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience of communicating with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders to progress cases and deliver an effective service.
- The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise competing demands and take responsibility for tasks through to completion.
- Strong IT, data entry and record-keeping skills, with experience using Microsoft Office, case management systems, and accurately maintaining transaction records.
- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and follow processes while maintaining high standards of compliance.
- An understanding of conveyancing, lease requirements, shared ownership sales and related legal or administrative processes.
- Experience of residential sales, shared ownership, resales, staircasing or property transaction administration would be desirable.
- Knowledge of the housing market, shared ownership schemes and Homes England funding or compliance requirements would be an advantage.

In return, we are offering the successful candidate in the Resales & Staircasing Progressor role…:
- Starting salary of £32,350
- Please note: This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 15 months.
- 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- Attendance at a quarterly team meeting in Wakefield is required.
- You will also be expected to attend the Wakefield office approximately one day per week and attend training as required.
