À propos du poste
Based on-site in Halifax, West Yorkshire
Keep our warehouse moving – and our orders reaching customers across the UK and beyond
At White Rose Education, our resources are used by schools and educators across the UK and internationally. Behind every order that reaches a customer is a warehouse operation that needs to run accurately, efficiently and on time.
We're looking for a Warehouse Administrator to play a key role in making that happen.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse administration, stock control, logistics and international shipping with practical support on the warehouse floor. One moment you could be preparing documentation for an international shipment; the next, resolving an order query, checking stock records or helping the team get orders picked, packed and out of the door.
If you're organised, comfortable juggling different priorities and like being part of a busy operation where accuracy really matters, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What you'll do
You'll help keep the day-to-day warehouse operation running smoothly, with responsibilities including:
- Coordinating UK and international shipments, from booking couriers through to tracking delivery and proof of delivery
- Preparing dispatch notes, delivery paperwork, labels, manifests and international shipping documentation
- Maintaining accurate stock records across goods in, goods out, returns and adjustments
- Running stock reports and identifying discrepancies or low stock levels
- Keeping ERP/WMS systems, Excel trackers and warehouse records accurate and up to date
- Working closely with our Customer Care and Schools Partnerships teams to resolve order, stock and delivery queries
- Investigating missing, damaged or incorrect orders and helping get issues resolved quickly
- Supporting weekly and monthly warehouse KPI reporting
- Helping with goods-in, stock counts and general warehouse operations
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch when required
- Looking for ways we can improve our processes, accuracy and stock flow
Could it be you?
We're looking for someone who combines strong administration skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
You'll need to be comfortable working between an office-style administration environment and the warehouse floor. You'll have excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills and the confidence to communicate with colleagues, couriers and other partners to keep things moving.
You'll ideally have experience working within a warehouse, logistics or operations environment, and you'll be someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for someone else to spot a problem.
Experience with international shipping, customs documentation or courier platforms such as DHL, FedEx, UPS or Royal Mail International would be a real advantage – but if you have the right operational experience and are keen to develop your knowledge quickly, we'd still like to hear from you.
Most importantly, you'll be a team player who is organised, reliable and accurate, and willing to get stuck in wherever the warehouse needs support.
Why White Rose Education?
You'll be joining an organisation with a clear purpose
helping teachers teach, learners learn and schools achieve more.
Although you may not be standing in a classroom, the work you do matters. Every accurate stock record, correctly prepared international shipment and order dispatched on time helps our resources reach the teachers and children who use them.

Please apply with an up-to-date CV and covering letter outlining your relevant experience, your location and why you're interested in joining White Rose Education as our Warehouse Administrator.
