About the role
About Euromonitor
Euromonitor International leads the world in data analytics and research into markets, industries, economies and consumers. We provide truly global insight and data on thousands of products and services; we are the first destination for organisations seeking growth. With our guidance, our clients can make bold, strategic decisions with confidence.
Building the marketing department for the future
Marketing at Euromonitor is being reimagined. We're building an AI-powered growth engine: agentic, automated, and data and tech led. A B2B marketing system designed for 2030, not 2015.
Behind it sits an advantage most companies would envy: original research from analysts across 210 markets, and decades of proprietary data built over more than 50 years. Our job is to turn that into growth.
And not incremental growth. We're not here for 10% better. We're building for 10x, and then 100x. That ambition sets the standard for everything we do, and everyone we hire.
So this is for people who want to drive transformation, not wait for it. Restless. Ambitious. More interested in building the engine than operating one someone else designed. If that sounds like you, this is a rare moment to join Euromonitor, and something special to be part of
Purpose of the role
This is one role holding together two genuinely different disciplines: consulting, where clients commission bespoke research and advice, and reports, bought individually online. Both put Euromonitor's research and data in front of clients, but they are won in completely different ways, and this role owns the proposition, the messaging and the commercial outcome for both.
Consulting is won in conversation: a proposition sharp enough for senior buyers weighing us against strategy firms, agencies and other research providers, built alongside the colleagues who deliver that research and advice. Reports are won on the page and at the point of purchase, working closely with the colleagues who build and run our online buying experience. You hold both, including a personal revenue target on the reports side.
Key accountabilities
- Own the propositions, messaging and positioning for the consulting offer and for report sales, and keep them the agreed source of truth everyone sells from.
- On consulting: define the proposition for senior buyers, the problems we solve, the outcomes we deliver, and the claims that separate us from strategy firms, agencies and other research providers.
- On reports: own the commercial story and the revenue line, how titles and topics are positioned, ensuring clear differentiation against research providers, agencies and strategy firms, how value shows up at the point of purchase, and a personal target for consistent month-on-month and year-on-year growth,.
- Partner closely with the colleagues who deliver our consulting and research work, and with the colleagues who build and run our online buying experience, to turn that capability into client-ready propositions.
- Equip commercial & solutions teams with the messaging, tools and training needed to improve conversion and revenue performance. Helping Sales Enablement to develop sales narratives, proposal content and objection-handling frameworks.
- Mine pipeline, conversion, purchase and competitive data for opportunities and risks across both routes: which propositions convert, which topics earn demand, and where price, packaging or the online experience change the answer.
- Conduct customer, prospect and win/loss analysis to identify unmet needs and emerging market opportunities. Turning customer insight into stronger propositions, messaging and commercial strategy.
- Own go-to-market for new consulting propositions and report launches, working alongside colleagues in the UK, US and other regions.
What success looks like;
- One current proposition and messaging set for consulting and for reports, used consistently by commercial and client-facing colleagues.
- A consulting proposition senior buyers recognise as distinct, evidenced in win rates against strategy firms, agencies and other research providers.
- The report revenue target met or exceeded, with growth that holds up month on month and year on year, not one strong period.
- A clear, evidence-based view of which propositions and topics to invest in next, refreshed continuously rather than annually.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years in product marketing, including ownership of the positioning and messaging for a service or product line rather than execution of someone else's.
- All experience must be in B2B marketing:
a B2C-only background won't fit this role.
- A genuine writer, comfortable producing the proposition, the sales narrative and the customer-facing copy yourself, including copy judged on whether it converts.
- Experience marketing a consulting or professional services proposition to senior buyers, plus some experience in ecommerce marketing and how an online buying journey converts.
- Comfortable holding, and being personally accountable for, a revenue target, not just a lead or activity target.
- Able to influence senior colleagues you don't manage, including research, consulting and ecommerce specialists, and get a clear position on messaging adopted across regions.
- Some experience working with AI, whether in a professional role or through personal projects, is something we look for in every hire joining Euromonitor Marketing right now.
