Rol hakkında

Job Description

What if you could turn the vast amount of data generated by Corporate Affairs (made up of Global Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability) into decisions that genuinely shape corporate reputation, audience engagement and business impact?

At Syngenta, we are creating a new role at the heart of Corporate Affairs: Data and Insights Manager – Corporate Affairs. This is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. You will connect data that currently sits across channels, teams and markets, uncover the audience behind it, and help senior leaders make better, more evidence-led communications decisions.

From offline and online campaigns, media coverage and employee sentiment to website traffic and social performance, you will help us understand what is working, what is not and where we should focus next. If you enjoy bringing order to complex information, working with modern analytics and AI tools, and delivering insights to senior stakeholders that shape future plans, this role offers the scope to make a visible difference.

Job description

Working in corporate affairs, you will lead the development of a more connected and consistent approach to data, measurement and insight across Corporate Affairs.

You will work with Corporate Affairs leaders, regional and market teams, channel owners, agencies and IT colleagues. Your role is not simply to report on numbers. It is to bring together different sources of information, and develop a scoring system to translate them into a clear narrative, practical options and recommendations for action.

Key responsibilities include

  • Bring together qualitative and quantitative data from surveys, campaigns, owned, earned, paid, social, web, and internal communications channels into a coherent view of ranked performance.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and insight narratives that help senior Corporate Affairs leaders understand impact with relevant audiences, make decisions and improve future activity.
  • Partner with IT colleagues to develop data structures, databases and AI-enabled tools that improve data quality, accessibility and usability.
  • Lead Corporate Affairs reputation-measurement activity, working with agencies and internal stakeholders to understand key audience perceptions, sentiment and share of voice.
  • Assess campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve planning, investment and communications outcomes.
  • Provide timely insight during sensitive issues or crisis situations, helping leaders understand audience reaction, reputational risk and potential communications choices.

You will also help establish practical tagging, metadata standards and scoring systems, enabling stronger benchmarking and more reliable reporting over time. A key part of the role will be supporting internal communications: using data and emerging signals to understand employee readiness, confidence, and adoption during transformation.

What we are looking for

You are an analytically strong and commercially minded professional who can work confidently in a complex, international environment. You enjoy solving ambiguous problems and are comfortable working with data from multiple sources, even when it is not yet fully connected or standardized.

You may currently work in data and analytics, market research, communications measurement, media, reputation management or a related agency environment. You could also be working in-house within a multinational organization and be ready for a role with greater strategic scope.

Most importantly, you can draw the link from simple performance kpis to impact among key audiences and ultimately to reputation. You can turn complex analysis into a clear and compelling story for stakeholders who may not be data specialists.

You will bring

  • Approximately five to ten years’ relevant experience in data and analytics, market research, communications measurement, reputation management or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience bringing together data from multiple sources and translating quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable insight using techniques such as weighted actions and audiences.
  • Experience building or improving dashboards, reporting processes, databases or insight tools, ideally in partnership with IT or digital colleagues.
  • A strong understanding of communications and channels, including events, earned, owned and paid media, social media, websites and internal communications, as well expertise in developing weighting systems to rank relevant audiences and actions.
  • Hands-on expertise with relevant analytics and measurement tools, such as GA4, SEMrush, Emplifi, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, as well as data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • An understanding of how AI and large language models influence content visibility, citation, measurement and communications performance.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills, including the confidence to influence senior leaders with evidence-based recommendations.
  • A curious, structured and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

You will stand out through your ability to connect the dots across corporate affairs data - and make the resulting insight clear, credible and useful for the people making decisions.
