Summary & Objectives
Coastline Equity is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residential and multifamily properties in San Pedro, California. This on-site role installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains residential units, common areas, and property systems while following safe and efficient maintenance practices.
Essential Functions
- Perform property renovations, unit turnovers, and routine maintenance.
- Handle electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting work.
- Troubleshoot and repair light fixtures, outlets, fans, garbage disposals, toilets, and other property equipment.
- Complete scheduled and emergency repairs, including on-call responsibilities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and keep work areas safe and clean.
- Use hand and power tools, diagnostic meters, and AppFolio to manage work orders.
- Deliver professional customer service to residents and collaborate with vendors and team members.
Pay rate: $25.00–$29.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Entry-level experience in one or two trades, maintenance, or renovation.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and move materials, follow safety protocols, and manage multiple work orders.
- Clear communication and professionalism when working with residents and the team.
- Technical capacity, ethical conduct, initiative, and a focus on results.
