About the role

Plan B Autobody is looking for a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs while following OEM procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently in a team environment, and is committed to delivering safe, accurate repairs that exceed customer expectations.

Perform high-quality structural and non-structural repairs in accordance with OEM repair procedures.

Repair, replace, and straighten damaged vehicle components using proper tools and techniques.

Operate frame equipment, measuring systems, and specialized repair tools accurately.

Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as required during the repair process.

Document repair procedures and communicate any additional damage or repair needs.

Work closely with estimators, parts personnel, and production staff to ensure timely repairs.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Participate in training opportunities and stay current on evolving vehicle technologies and repair methods.

Support quality control processes to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.

Requirements

5+ years of collision repair experience preferred.

Proficient in structural and non-structural repair techniques.

Experience using frame machines and computerized measuring systems.

Strong understanding of OEM repair procedures and industry best practices.

I-CAR certifications preferred; I-CAR Platinum or Gold Class experience is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret repair plans and estimates.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Reliable, self-motivated, and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
