Position overview
H2 Performance Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead RN to guide the daily clinical and operational work of our Pensacola office. This is a hands-on role for a nurse who enjoys patient care, supports their team, and can keep a busy clinic organized. The Lead RN coordinates clinic workflow, supports and trains assigned staff, monitors service and documentation standards, and serves as the main link between the Pensacola office and the Medical Operations Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate daily patient flow, room assignments, staffing coverage, and opening and closing procedures.
- Provide nursing assessments, triage, patient education, treatments, and follow-up within RN scope and ProHealth protocols.
- Perform or assist with specimen collection, injections, vaccinations, EKGs, occupational health services, and other approved procedures when trained and authorized.
- Support onboarding, training, coaching, and day-to-day supervision of assigned clinical and administrative staff.
- Monitor consistent use of clinical procedures, accurate documentation, patient privacy practices, and safety standards.
- Respond to patient concerns promptly and escalate clinical or operational issues when appropriate.
- Work with providers and the Medical Operations Manager to resolve workflow problems and improve patient experience.
- Oversee daily office readiness, including equipment, supplies, cleanliness, and clinical inventory.
- Monitor completion of daily administrative processes, including balancing, deposits, billing handoffs, and required reports; partner with the appropriate departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate staffing needs, clinic performance, and improvement opportunities to the Medical Operations Manager.
- Attend leadership meetings and share relevant updates with the Pensacola team.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays as needed. Hours may vary based on business and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license authorizing practice in Florida.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in an outpatient clinic, urgent care, primary care, or occupational health setting preferred.
- Prior experience training or leading a clinical team preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide direct patient care while coordinating the work of a busy office.
- Experience with electronic health records preferred.
