The District Manager is results-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills. They manage operational practices, ensure budget and sales goals are achieved, drive an unparalleled guest experience, and train and cultivate strong teams. District managers are expected to guarantee that company practices and policies are understood at all stores in their territory. The goal of a district manager is to motivate and direct the activities of managers who run the units or stores they are responsible for.
District managers will be required to make bold decisions and must possess strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Achieve retail store sales, targets and KPI’s.
- Engages and retains best in class talent through weekly touch bases with GMs and skip levels bi-weekly with AGM and Retail Leads.
- Execute all Retail Store strategies and initiatives in partnership with Retail Operations Manager and Director of Retail.
- Drive the ideal customer experience in all dispensaries.
- Review and audit schedules to drive efficiency and payroll control.
- Work closely with operations, security, purchasing, cultivation, and compliance teams to achieve operational excellence, strong shrink controls and a compliant business.
- Works with senior leadership and HR on succession planning to build a strong bench and future leaders.
- Responsible for full P&L control within market.
- Responsible for all store activity including personnel, operations, visual merchandising, sales, KPIs, and the customer experience.
- Lead by example always; being a proactive role model, mentor, and coach for the team.
- Promote employee morale by creating an enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding work environment.
- Maintaining a team of industry-passionate and customer service-focused employees.
- Ensure customer retention and satisfaction by culminating a customer experience that is supported by product knowledge, education, and high service standards.
- Regular store travel that includes store visit summaries and weekly follow up to Director of Retail.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Must have one year experience in multi-site leadership.
- Proficiency using MS Office applications.
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
- Must have multi-site leadership experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card.
- Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 10 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
- Throughout extended periods must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities, strong sense of urgency managing multiple projects and deadlines and strong conflict management skills.
- If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week (including holidays) and to be flexible with schedule.
- Cannabis experience strongly preferred.

- Ability to stand, sit, squat, climb, push, pull, lift, twist, stretch, or carry products throughout shifts
- Use of ladders and stools to reach products and supplies
