We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support manufacturing operations at a regulated manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. This role provides engineering support to production, driving process improvements, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and supporting quality and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing lines, including equipment and process troubleshooting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, efficiency and product quality.
  • Support nonconformances, investigations, root cause analysis and CAPAs.
  • Author and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.
  • Support change controls, equipment qualification and process validation activities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other Engineering teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical or related)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical or similar)
  • Working knowledge of GMP/quality system requirements, validation and change control
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools

Benefits

  • Contract position: approximately 24 months, starting October 2026
  • Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • On-site in Houston, Texas
