À propos du poste
SkyTrak is the #1 best-selling consumer launch monitor in golf — over 115,000 units sold, five straight years of Golf Digest's "Best in Golf" award, and the technology behind the growing wave of golfers who train and play at home instead of just at the range. We're part of the GOLFTEC family, which means we're not just selling a device — we're building the data and coaching ecosystem that's redefining how people get better at golf.
We've grown fast on product strength, relationships, and creative deal-making. Now we need a VP of Sales who can turn that into a real operating system: a leader for our Marketplace, International, Inside Sales, and VAR teams who brings the organization, the account-level rigor, and the cross-functional discipline that lets the business scale past what any one person can run by relationship alone.
This role is a deliberate complement, not a copy. You'll partner with a leader who brings deep retail expertise, creative deal-making, and business development instincts — your job is to bring the structure: clear goals by account, real forecasting, clean data, and a team that executes without needing to be micromanaged. You own the sales organization day-to-day; leadership stays focused on the P&L, operations, and future business.
Day-to-Day You'll Be
- Leading and developing 4 direct reports across Marketplace, International, Inside Sales, and VAR (reseller) sales — and coaching them to become stronger managers and leaders in their own right, not just stronger sellers
- Beyond managing the team, driving business development outside our normal channels — sourcing new partnerships, revenue-share arrangements, and other paths to diversify revenue globally
- Building SkyTrak's green grass channel from the ground up — finding the right path to sell through golfcourse pro shops, private clubs, and golf facilities, then taking it from first accounts to a tangible, repeatable revenue stream with its own targets, pricing, and partner program
- Building an account-level goal and measurement system across every channel — clear targets, clear ownership, and a cadence (weekly pipeline, monthly forecast, quarterly business review) that makes performance visible without you having to chase it down
- Digging into existing accounts to find incremental revenue — new SKUs, expanded placement, upsell/cross-sell, deeper commitments from VARs and distributors — not just chasing new logos
- Bringing real organization and data discipline to the sales function: clean CRM hygiene, reliable dashboards, and reporting that leadership can trust without having to double-check it
- Becoming an expert in HubSpot and using the full power of the CRM to run the business — building a deal pipeline and measurable tracking by sales rep and by account that shows stocking levels, deal opportunities, fill-in and reorder timing, and more. You'll make sure every team member is fluent in HubSpot too, so the CRM gives real-time visibility to the sales team, to cross-functional partners, and to executive leadership, and becomes the single source of truth for future revenue
- Leading the team's use of AI to work smarter — finding efficient, effective ways for each person to manage their day, building individual plans for every role and holding people accountable to them, and teaching the team to use AI to take on the administrative work so more of their time goes to account management and growth
Requirements
- VP-level (or strong Director-level, ready to step up) experience leading a multi-channel sales organization — ideally spanning some mix of marketplace/e-commerce, international/distributor, inside sales, and reseller/VAR channels
- Real experience managing managers — you've built and coached a team of leaders, not just a team of individual contributors
Preferred
- A track record of installing sales operations discipline: goal-setting by account, forecasting cadence, CRM/data hygiene, and dashboards that leadership actually trusts
- Demonstrated ability to grow revenue from an existing account base — expansion, upsell, and deeper partnership — not just new-logo hunting
Benefits
- Six (6) company observed holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- GOLFTEC observes a Flexible Time Off policy for exempt employees
- Health Insurance (Company pays 50% of individual & family)
