Job Description
This role will be based in NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Omaha, San Francisco, Sunnyvale or remote.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. This role may be remote or hybrid. At LinkedIn, hybrid roles are performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Remote roles are performed from the designated home work location upon time of hire, and any changes to this home work location requires a review of remote status and approval.
LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) helps marketers connect with the audiences that matter most through trusted, data-driven advertising solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. As a Global Enablement Lead, LMS Sales Performance, you will design and lead scalable enablement strategies and programs that equip customer-facing teams with the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to improve sales effectiveness, accelerate customer value, and drive business growth.
You bring strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of how sellers and sales managers work — the workflows, skills, and behaviors required to execute effectively, and the processes, tools, and operating rhythms that reinforce performance, including forecast calls, deal reviews, and pipeline inspection. You use that understanding to diagnose business needs, define what good looks like, and translate priorities into enablement strategies that build capability and drive sustained behavior change.
This is a broad, portfolio-based role whose priorities will evolve with the needs of the business. You may lead work across sales methodology and selling skills, seller and sales leader capability, priority business initiatives, sales process and tool adoption, and other emerging performance needs.
Success requires the ability to flex across programs, prioritize the highest-impact opportunities, and protect field capacity while bringing a consistent approach to diagnosing needs, building capability, and driving measurable change.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, execution, and impact assessment for large-scale enablement programs that build field capability, drive behavior change, and support global business priorities.
- Apply a strong understanding of seller and sales manager workflows — including the sales leader operating rhythm — to diagnose performance needs and design solutions that reflect how the field sells, manages, coaches, and operates.
- Define and strengthen the sales methodologies, skills, and behaviors required for effective commercial execution, translating them into practical, observable, and coachable expectations for the field.
- Partner with Sales leadership, Sales Operations, and owners of sales processes and tools to ensure skills, process, technology, and measurement reinforce one another, taking direct ownership of process or tool enablement as business needs require.
- Use direct observation, qualitative and quantitative data, field feedback, and available technology to uncover insights, assess needs, measure impact, and design global solutions that flex for regional, segment, and line-of-business needs.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with senior leaders, developing recommendations and narratives that drive alignment and decision-making, in close collaboration with Go To Market Enablement partners across Learning Design, Sales Performance Consulting, and Program Operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, communications, engineering, product management, education, or other related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex multi-stakeholder programs.
- 5+ years of combined experience in Enablement, Sales, Sales Management, Strategy & Operations, Change Management, Consulting, or Learning & Development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong business and sales acumen, with demonstrated understanding of B2B seller and sales manager workflows, sales process, and the sales leader operating rhythm (e.g., forecast calls, deal reviews, pipeline inspection).
- Experience applying or enabling B2B sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, Sandler) and core selling skills, with the ability to translate methodology into practical field behaviors and development experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose business and performance needs and translate them into clear, scalable enablement strategies and solutions.
- Experience partnering with Sales leadership and Sales Operations on initiatives involving sales effectiveness, process, performance, or field execution.
- Proven experience leading complex enablement or transformation initiatives across multiple audiences, regions, or segments in a highly matrixed organization, building alignment through influence and adapting priorities as business needs evolve.
- Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, develop a clear point of view, and communicate recommendations with clarity and brevity.
Suggested Skills
- Sales Acumen
- Sales Methodology
- Strategic Enablement
